Daily Maintenance Tips for Semi-Auto Box Stitching Machines
2025-08-29
I. Daily Maintenance (Before Startup / After Shutdown)
Cleaning and Maintenance
Wipe the equipment surface and paper feeding channel with a dry soft cloth to remove paper scraps, dust, and other debris, preventing accumulation and blockage that may affect paper feeding accuracy. Focus on cleaning the staple head area to avoid staple residue adhesion causing staple jamming.
Lubrication Check
Inspect the lubrication condition of the staple head's transmission parts (e.g., gears, guide rails). Add special lubricating oil as required by the instruction manual to ensure smooth operation of components and prevent wear from dry friction.
Component Inspection
Check if the staple guide rail is unobstructed and if the staple head is loose. Test whether the pressure of the paper feeding roller is uniform. If component deformation or looseness is found, adjust or fasten them in a timely manner.
II. Weekly Maintenance
In-Depth Cleaning
Disassemble the staple head assembly (power must be cut off during operation). Use a brush to clean the dirt in the staple slot, and wipe the cutting edge of the staple head with alcohol to ensure smooth staple ejection. Clean the heat dissipation holes of the internal motor to prevent dust accumulation from affecting heat dissipation.
Vulnerable Parts Inspection
Check the wear condition of the paper feeding belt. If cracks or slipping occur, replace it promptly. Inspect the elasticity and wear degree of the staple striker and spring. If the striker is deformed or the spring elasticity weakens, replace the spare parts immediately.
III. Monthly Maintenance
Precision Calibration
Check the staple pitch accuracy of the box stitching machine (e.g., single-staple, double-staple spacing). If the deviation exceeds the standard (usually ±0.5mm), calibrate it using the equipment's adjustment knob. Test whether the staple leg folding angle meets requirements to ensure the staple legs are flat and do not scratch hands after carton binding.
Electrical System Inspection
After cutting off the power, check if the power cord and control wire connectors are loose. Inspect the contactors and fuses in the distribution box to ensure they are in normal condition, avoiding equipment failures or safety hazards caused by poor wire contact.
IV. Maintenance Precautions
- All maintenance operations must be performed when the equipment is powered off and shut down to prevent safety accidents caused by accidental startup.
- When lubricating, use the lubricating oil of the model specified in the equipment instruction manual. Mixing different types of oil is prohibited to avoid component corrosion.
- When replacing vulnerable parts (e.g., strikers, belts), use original or matching-specification spare parts to ensure equipment compatibility and operational stability.
