① Cardboard Receiving
Manufacturers need to assign dedicated personnel to receive the cardboard. During the receiving process, it is necessary to count the quantity, ensure the cardboard is intact, undamaged, and free from stains. Additionally, verify that the creasing dimensions, quantity, material, corrugated type of the cardboard match the order requirements; otherwise, the cardboard should not be accepted.
② Paper Slitting and Creasing
For small-batch carton production, paper slitting is required. When the ordered quantity of cartons is less than the ordered quantity of cardboard, the carton equipment manufacturer will only provide cardboard with rough edges. In such cases, the carton equipment factory must perform paper slitting and creasing by itself.
③ Printing and Slotting
When printing, the ink color needs to be mixed evenly, and the color and color shade must meet the customer’s requirements. During plate printing, the pressure of the roller wheels should be appropriate; otherwise, problems such as dirty plates, blurred plates, or unclear local graphic impressions may occur. When slotting, the height must not be incorrect, as this would result in carton lids that cannot close properly or have gaps when closed.
④ Carton Sealing
For adhesive sealing, ensure that the glue does not extend beyond the tail line; otherwise, adjacent cartons may stick to each other.
